The curriculum
Week by week
Every week combines a live session, build time, and structured feedback.
Orientation and idea validation
Phase: Get oriented
Meet your cohort, understand how the fellowship runs, and lock in the project you'll build for the next eight weeks.
Foundations
Phase: Get oriented
Scope your first milestone, get matched with a mentor, and learn how the peer review process works.
Build sprint one
Phase: Build in public
Ship a first working version of your project and get your first round of structured peer feedback.
Guest session and mentor hours
Phase: Build in public
Hear from an industry leader on how they actually built and shipped, then bring your open questions to mentor office hours.
Build sprint two
Phase: Build in public
Iterate on the feedback from week three and take on the hardest part of your build.
Second guest session and deep review
Phase: Build in public
A second industry leader session, followed by a full peer review round on your near finished project.
Polish and prepare
Phase: Show your work
Refine your project based on final feedback and put together your demo day presentation.
Demo day
Phase: Show your work
Present your finished project to mentors, peers, and the wider NexFellow community.
The rhythm
What a typical week looks like
The same rhythm repeats every week, so momentum builds instead of resetting.
Live session
One weekly call with the full cohort. Some weeks are a workshop, others are a guest session with an industry leader.
Build time
Dedicated time to work on your own project, on your own schedule, with a clear goal for the week.
Peer review
Structured feedback from other fellows on what you shipped, run through NexFellow's review process.
Mentor office hours
Optional time with your matched mentor to work through whatever is actually blocking you.
Eligibility
Who it's for
The fellowship is selective, but not about your resume. It's about whether you'll actually build.
